I had some old coins laying around my drawer so I decided to wash them with vinegar. After that, I found out that adding salt is better.

On this photo, this coin was only half way into the vinegar so you can see the comparison before and after.

Most of the copper coins that was in the vinegar became pink, because that is how the actual copper 
looks like when the oxygen gets remove from them.













I had another idea, trying a coin on a torch. At first, I thought it was kind of boring because none of
the color or anything change. But as soon as I took the coin out from the torch it became really dark and looked old.
I think this happens because it takes less time for the copper to get oxygen on them then steel.
